Learning and Skills Development
The FAST Library provides access to information resources and helps users develop the skills needed for study, research and working in a digital environment.
For first-year students, the library offers an online course, Using Information Resources, which introduces library services, the university’s electronic resources and ways to use them effectively in their studies.
Throughout the year, the library organises lectures and hands-on workshops focusing on information and digital literacy. For doctoral students and staff, it offers training that addresses current topics and the needs of academic practice — from finding and using scholarly information and resources to exploring new digital technologies and tools that support study, research and day-to-day work.
