Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Unable to find the item you need in the FAST Library’s collection? Our interlibrary loan service can obtain it for you from another library in the Czech Republic or abroad.
What you can request
- a loan of a book or another library item,
- a copy of a specific journal article.
Entire journal issues or volumes, technical standards, and university theses and dissertations cannot be requested.
Who can use the service
The service is available to FAST staff and doctoral students. Other students may use it when working on their bachelor’s or master’s thesis.
How long it takes
- article copies: 2–5 days
- other items: 7–14 days
- books from abroad: approximately one month or longer
We will notify you by email. Loan periods and conditions are set by the lending library. Charges may apply based on the actual costs incurred.
